Man i remeber my local music shop had an aluminum one of these. I was always the annoying kid trying to play everything and oddly they asked me if i wanted to play it bc i was obsessed with it and i t was the only guitar i i didnt play for some reason? I think was intimidated by knowing hiw rare it was or something and at the time it was a 2 to 3 thousand dollar guitar (which was outlandish price then) but looking back it was an amazing deal on one of these. I should have pain stakingly saved up and bought it. But it sold super quick.

I own the SE. The main difference to me is that gorgeous curly maple binding my guitar has around the body, in the f-holes, along the neck and around the headstock. The Core doesn't have any of that. Compared to the SE, it really looks like a stripped-down, cheaper version... which is nuts.

If I pay this amount of money for a guitar, I would want it to look marvelous and perfect. This one is just not doing it for me. Looks to cheap with the high gloss and oversized woodgrain. Just looks strangely cheap to me.

I just bought a custom shop Alex Lifeson Epiphone Les Paul with additional stuff for $1300. A Gibson custom shop Les Paul Lists for $6000. It as worth it cause I cannot afford a Gibson
